This is a wonderful haiku/senryu It's also true what you have written in it. This steel figure looks over the IJsselmeer (the lake on which borders I live) and looks to the horizon. He's looking back to the past ... I live in a polder (self made land from the sea) and this steel figure looks at the (as we call it) "old land".
