I still have hopes that this Middle East thing will work itself out. If I'm honest with myself, the only tyranny I'm faced with is the tyranny of taxes. I do not know how I'd react to living under a dictator, but I know that the U.S. needs to quit supporting these régimes. It is not our place to be kingmakers.

Wow. I admire poets that are capable of haiku. I've never been any good at making my point in a concise manner. You've executed this beautifully. I think I may try my hand at it tomorrow!

You flatter me too much,lol! It is very hard, but I have been able to pop them out easily. I believe I have found my style. Good luck with it and check out some of the early Japanese haiku by Basho and others. Cannot remember some of the other writers. I have a few on my famous poet page.
